So you guys have actually gone and read the constitution then? You've done you're own investigation? You've hit up the library and researched what he says? You've listened to both sides and made an intelligent well rounded opinion? Obviously not. By the way, he tells people not to take his word for it to go out there and find out for themselves. That sounds like he's taking it and twisting it as he pleases.. yeah right
Look up the real facts..Oh and Common Sense.. my main source isn't fox news, I actually do my own research. By the way I did it BEFORE I started listening to Beck. As for treason, Obama presided over the U.N. a while back. Our consitution clearly states that no one in the United States (especially the president) is allowed to preside over ANY other country or countries governments or their courts.. THAT'S treason..
Look it up

Seriously you called President Obama out for committing treason because he "presided" over the U.N. ? You do realize that the U.N. was founded by an American President and is not considered to be a part of ANY country--hence the name-United Nations.
That and if you have looked at other sources of news besides FOX or read the Constitution as you claim you would know that Dick Cheney has committed treason on several occasions -- and should have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon for shooting his friend in the face--but he has never been "called out on" any of those things by the right wing conservatives who love him about as much as they do Reagan.
I thought you were just being sort of sarcastic in your defense of Glenn Beck or maybe just messing with the haters and trolls--but now I am not so sure.
And there's this word--hypocrisy--look it up before you go off calling people "sheep" or telling people that you are the only person allowed to offer what constitutes a "well rounded and intellectual opinion" on what they should think about Glenn Beck or his show.

Did I say I supported Cheney? You'd be surprised how liberal I am. All that shows me is how you, like everyone else, stereotype people on their opinions. The sad thing is a lot of people allow themselves to be that way, they follow the common defintion, hence sheep.
Do you realize the U.N. was founded by the president who started us out on this Socialist path? The constituion has been disregarded by our leaders for years, just in small doses so no one notices. Read your history books.
I wasn't being hypocritical, I was merely making an observation. It bothers me when people are saying things they don't truley understand. Before you go around critizing someone based on what other people tell you, look for yourself. And I am calling them sheep because what they are saying is false information. They are just regurgitating from whatever source they trust.
And it is being sheepish when you take someone elses word for it.. and for your information I didn't just start listening to Beck and out of no where believe every word out of his mouth.. He was disscusing points and information I already knew, because I was raised to pay attention to the government. And I actually studied the constitution and bill of rights while in school. Our founders wanted us to be aware of what was going on up there, if we don't pay attention eventually they end up doing what ever they damn well please, contradicting the whole meaing of the constituion and why it was written in the first place.
“Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?”
“A Republic, if you can keep it.”
-- Ben Franklin.Sadly it seems we cannot. People have become to lazy to do things for themselves anymore. They expect someone else to do it for them.

Beck is doing his audience a disservice since half of them don't even know who those people are.

umm, have any of you actually ever listened to him? Or are you just taking everyone else's word for it?
Why don't you pay attention to what he says, then make your own decision.
And don't watch some stupid you tube video clip some asshole with too much time on his hands made.. watch the show for a week... then make an intelligent opinion from your own mouth and stop being such fucking sheep - 2 years ago

I have watched Beck and he is just a rabble rouser who makes no sense whatsover. He thinks he knows the Constitution. He doesn't. He takes words out of context and twists them around to form his own opinion. Beck is a very, very dangerous person because he is secretely hoping he can get one of his followers to do harm to President Obama. That is TREASON.

I listened to him and I think he is a history revisionist. He twists around what is in the Constitution to fit his own twisted thinking.

I have listened to Glenn Beck--I even kind of liked him when he was on Headline News and wasn't so caught up in his own fame that he made sense.
Oh and thanks for calling people who are actually intelligent and therefore don't take everything Glenn has to say as absolute truth "fucking sheep". For one there are several other posts on Current right now that deal with sexual identity/orientation issues so go check those out -- and second - it sort of defeats your point that one should think for themselves and not just allow their main source of news be FOX news.
That and maybe you hit on Glenn Beck's "real" problem--he tries to "make an intelligent opinion with his own mouth" instead of using using his "own" brain and his "own" hands to do some basic fact checking by reading a book or checking internet sources besides a wiki page before he runs his "own" mouth and sets himself up to be mocked.

I say Glenn is just jealous. Those PBS "producers" are secret agents of "socialism" and the host of the show Faces of America-that actually tracks celebrities from all walks of life's DNA and genomes to tell them about who they really are related to - is black so therefore its "obvious" why they did not ask him (Glenn) to take part in their show (they chose Stephen Colbert instead :P ) - that and NBC is on Bill O's short list over a recent Law and Order: SVU episode he took as a personal affront-- so poor Glenn wasn't asked to be on the NBC rip off of the PBS series either.
Thus he has to go back to what he knows best--pulling "stuff" out of his ass and pretending he actually pulled it off of a wiki page or ancestry.com instead.

it's just a shame. Don't you notice how over the years that the republican party has slowly become what football and other popular American sports are... . Their champions are even former sports pundits! I believe that this whole charade is about creating sports teams and creating the WWF controversies becomes the republicans have learned that that is what works to get people to flock to you pole. They've found they're "Hollywood" element and they're running with it and they're doing a pretty good job. Liberals, Moderates, Greens, Socialists... the rest of us are just fumbling with the football. It's time to take that ball and blow it to pieces, throw it over the fence where the neighbors vicious dog will prevent them from picking it back up again. Then it's time to really play the game. I'm not satisfied with health care, but I think Obama is about to do just that.

With Beck's ego, I'm not surprised that he likened himself to great historical figures. What surprises me is that Beck likened himself to a great historical black man.

not surprising... MLK jr. is the go to man. And don't get me wrong, MLK jr. is a great man, but there is a reason why he's the white man's black man. It would be more surprising if he said something like Malcolm X.

He doesn't have to. His actions speak for themselves. I don't even think he is evil. He's deranged. I hope Fox keeps him forever, his actions and crazy talk, speaks volumes about them too.
