"This group will be posting environmental news that doesn't get the attention it deserves on other groups. This will not be a group about green "fads" or "trends" but the meat of the environmental issues and crises that must see the light of day. Climate Change (no denier propaganda), Earth Science, environmental tech, and anything to do with longterm environmental effects on our planet and our future will be discussed here along with action items. This group truly believes in Earth Care."
And I absolutely want to see viewer created content in this group. So please consider joining Earth Care and giving attention to the important issues that slip into the abyss in other environmental groups that must please corporate sponsors. I will delineate more as the group hopefully gets going.

Just an observation, but when I looked before this was on Green at the top, and now it is nowhere to be found. I would hate to think they purposefully hid it. After all, I have been a member of green since it started and should at least be able to announce an environmental group to those who might want to join it. Isn't that what this site claims to be about?

I think it was purposefully hidden. Current staff has a habit of doing that when views expressed in articles are damaging to Current or their sponsors.
For the past 2 hours it was within the top ten in the News. I looked away for less then ten minutes and it was nowhere to be found. (this has happened to other articles especially ones about Al Gore.)I am guessing that since the Green channel has been purchased by Sun Chips, it would be damaging to Current's sponsorship if current members all jumped ship and joined your group for real environmental news.

This sounds like a good group for me. If I can find some spare time in my busy schedule, I'll do some local investigation to see what stories I can dig up. I probably won't have to look too far, knowing this area's indifference to environmental contamination.

I have no respect for infantile trolls who attack other people simply because they have a difference in opinion. It displays the worst kind of moral bankruptcy. If you have the slightest interest in morality, it would be wise of you to reexamine the way in which you are addressing complete strangers who have done nothing to attack you.
