TIto Ingenieri didn't have any other way to make his house, so he began collecting beer bottles from all over the town. Locals began giving their bottles to Tito as well, and over 19 years, he accumulated 6 million bottles for his empire.
The size and scale of this house is what is so astounding about it, and we applaud Ingenieri's ingenious reusing of bottles.

Good for him. I particularly like the "whistle" effect from the wind, though, with that many bottles, it may be deafening!

Not a bad idea, but architecturally and aesthetically speaking, this particular attempt is far from appealing. There is, however, a very nice Buddhist Temple in Thailand made with green Singha beer bottles that is quite handsome.
And, it's likely there are some other fine hand-crafted homes with this approach here in some odd and quiet corners of the U.S.
Love to see more pictures of those. - 1 year ago

architecturally i'm sure you're right and it looks like it would easily collapse, but aesthetically beautiful. no denying that!

I agree, pretty ugly for such a beautiful concept. Obviously his idea was a practical not an artistic one.
