I heard this news story last night, so I looked it up this morning on the web. Evidently, there were these strange lights seen over Williamsburg in late January 2010. I'm usually a bit skeptical of such things, but these "lights" sure do look and "act" funny. What do you think?

    • The first looks like a piece of cheese stuck to a window. The second looks like some kind of image scrambling system deployed by the craft.

    • I'm a believer and I always have been.

I've seen objects in the sky twice in my life. I don't care who laughs or what people say. I know for a fact that they do exist.

    • Well, I imagine that, if this was truly advanced life, we probably wouldn't see them as much as we'd like to believe...

I mean, think about it: we have a hard enough time as it is governing our OWN planet... can you imagine what it would be like trying to govern a star cluster, or especially a galaxy (assuming that the species are that advanced)?

Introducing a new species to 'galactic politics' (especially with our behaviour), as I imagine, would be incredibly dangerous, as we could eventually go to war with them, do something we aren't fully capable of understanding, or simply messing up the whole politics in the region...

No, I imagine that, if advanced life is out there, and it does introduce new species to the 'galactic politics', we aren't either unified enough, or perhaps even smart enough, to be considered worthy of communication.

I saw the huge fiery ball in the sky over the South Mountains in Phoenix, Arizona in 1967.It dropped from the sky and just sat their for at least 15 minutes. My sisters and I just watched in amazement. The entire city saw this take place. We all thought that the Sun was falling from the sky until we looked to the west towards the White Tank (mountains) Missile range and saw the Sun over there.

      I will never forget this.
