the early roman church gave the devil horns a tail and goat hoofs to resemble the god pan. the pitch fork was neptunes.

i'm quite confused because there is a story, but the photos look completely fake.
take a look at the base of the horn, it looks like it's added on digitally, there's some difference in skin tone and a brighter kind of pixelated fuzziness like they did a bad job of blending it onto her forehead. at least in the first pic, the others have an unnatural look to them.
not a pro, but i know photoshop, or at least a bad job of it.
CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS to have a look!either way, it's not causing her problems, so that's ok. on the other hand, if it's false, what is the point of fabricating such a story?? we see here it gets some a little annoyed by evolution theories.
so i'm saying, BIGDADDYMELVIN shut the fuck up, no one cares about your bullshit, if you hate our views and the "liberal" Current majority, why the fuck are you here? i remember now! just to attack and hate like the rest of your types.

Yea, it looks photoshoped to me too. There is fairly obvious discrepancy in the wrinkles on her forehead when they get close to the horn, like the blur tool was used. Then in the closeup, the wrinkles look fine. Definitely smells like photshop. But why? And how did this make it into a legitimate news story?

"horns"? There's only one. The other is nothing but a small lump. Anyway, she's probably Buddhist so this whole "devil" name is probably bit offensive. If I were her I'd get it sliced off. That'd be so irritating when you went to pull on t-shirts or jumpers and things.

Cutaneous horn. According to this article there may be a higher chance due to her age that it may be malignant. Feel good about using her to get clicks and featured now?

There is an actual rare physical disorder where the individual is either born or develops horns in their lifetime. It all goes back to evolution.

Considering the possibilities, it would be interesting if devil horns were initially inspired by this anomaly of keratin growth. What if thousands of years ago somebody grew those and people thought they were possessed. And then stories were passed down of the devil horned person.
Just a thought.

This is merely a physical discrepancy. A pretty sweet one at that. We're all born a little different, yet perfect by the accord of our genes, and I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't have dug having these horns growing up. Cancer just isn't the same as something like this.
Whether or not you'd be suffering is relative to what you dig.
Though society's relentless desire to play devil's advocate is should be taken into account. - 1 year ago

BIGDADDYMELVIN:
Uh...Says the person who doesn't believe in evolution! Something we have mounds of evidence to support. Evidence you can see on a daily basis, in fact.
You really can't expect to be considered a conscious, sentient creature if you ignore the world around you in trade for faith. God would want you to understand the world. And ignoring science facts, and observable data basically means that your free will and free mind are now gone to the parasitic side of religion. Your spirituality isn't wrong. It's good... but you HAVE TO entertain the possibility that some stories in the bible are absolutely false and that some times you may just plain be wrong... even if it's in the bible. Your spirituality and science can (and must) coexist for you to be a productive and (non-crazy) human.
Ignoring what you know to be right is, basically, evil and wrong... and spreading that idea hurts people all over the world and keeps them from truly understanding the world and what it is to be human.
Cut it out.

aid616:
This is most likely a cutaneous horn; a hard, skin colored projection of the epidermis, usually on the head or face. It shows cellular irregularity but may not invade the dermis. It can be pre-cancerous and usually excised. They can have the appearance of old fingernail or hornlike in color and texture.
This woman has a skin tag on her right forehead and other moles, nevi on her right cheek. She also has a flesh colored mole on her left nose.
Malignant melanoma usually looks like black and brown fungus-like growths, or more commonly 'weird mushrooms' if outside of the body. They can also, be black with rounded or smooth appearance. At 101 she's lived a long time. Hopefully it's only a benign lesion. - 1 year ago
