  I wonder if being a charted accountant in the UK is different than being a CPA in the USA and that's what makes it so much worse that chartered accountants are so "dreadfully dull and boring" that they dream of being lion tamers instead as portrayed by Monty Python.
  
  I gues that CPA's get paid a lot more in the USA than charted accountants do in the UK and that it's more challenging for CPA's to keep so many more sets of each account while the thrill of "cooking the books" adds more rewards and risks to make it the 6th best job in America
