Whats the big deal? I can pretty much guarantee that if this where two women insted of two men people wouldn't behang as big of an issue with this. Homophobics make me sick!!

There is a generational aspect to this- it's mostly older people who still read printed newspapers, and older people tend to be stuck in old-fashioned ways of thinking.

I'm sure that not only were they shocked that two men were kissing, but that one was white and one was asian, and that in the background a black woman was out and about without supervision.

...and the purple shirt gave one or two heart palpitations as well.

Love should not offend you. Affection and care between two fellow human beings should make you happy that there is still that connection and compassion left in the world. If you don't like gay marriage or gay relationships, don't have one.

i think that the washington post has a few subscribers that than can afford to lose. members of my family will make up for both of them.

It's unfortunate that social conservatives are unable to appreciate love. They have no problem sending kids to die, but show a picture of boys kissing and they lose it. Wow. Special people. Maybe one day they will realize morality is about being good to other people, and not just hating those unlike yourself.
