Wait a sec – back the truck up. An organized cabal of Roman Catholic aparatchiks are so far up Congress’s ass that they’re openly discussing how they’re going to inject Vatican dogma into a US health care bill?

    • Watch the Rachel Maddow Show -- she has been pointing out all the crap that "The Family" and "C-street" have been pulling by using Senator Bart Stupak and the lesser known members of the gang to push for extremely archaic language on funding for abortion that basically would make it illegal in order for health care to pass. These guys are also instrumental in bringing up the whole "kill the gays" bill that Uganda was thinking about passing. Meanwhile MALE members of "The Family" serving in Congress get to pay $600 a month in subsidized rent in DC and live in a mansion that costs $1.8 million and bring their girlfriends and mistresses over on a regular basis while pushing extreme hateful so - called christian morals off on the rest of us.

Better than just watching Maddow, read the book by Jeff Sharlet. It is a way more in depth look into the origins of this "organization" and the mentality of it's members. Good read too, but creepy, because it's true. Side note: The leader of "The Family" Doug Coe, from Oregon. He went to Willamette. They have global reach
