A Burbank, California sixth-grade teacher turned herself in to authorities yesterday because of overwhelming guilt over a 6 month affair that she had with one of her 14 year old students last year.

    • Burbank police spokesman Keith Sterling reports that Beck is being held on $175,000 bail. Her attorney Michael Williamson indicates that she doesn’t plan to post bail and will remain in jail. Her next hearing is set for March 25, 2010.
