It is so pathetic how some people are hoodwinked by the Media Research Center which is far, far right so-called media watchdog organization. They should read what Wikipedia has to say about MRC founder Brent Bozell and the twisted manner in which the try and fail to point out inaccuracies in real reporting as opposed to Faux News, a pupped of the GOP. everything you see on TV is some form of propaganda, this is the reason why we see commercials on oil and gas companies being responsible to the environment, sugary and fatty foods being advertised as healthy, pill companies where their producst have more side effects than benifits, and banks that claim they know how to invest your money responsibly, and finally......political candidates and propositions that will fix everything.....

get real, fox has a mix of reportage from people of differing ideologies.
not true of strictly left leaning networks that are nothing more than just extensions of the current progressive administration.
msnbc spends a lot of time correcting ANY information that makes their lord and master barack obama look bad.
Lets not forget that the ceo of G.E which is owner of msnbc is actually an apointee of the president. - 2 years ago

It goes both ways bill. Every other article on current flip flops your suggestion that one side uses name calling as their way of ending the conflict. Some of the liberals on this site are real quick to call you a fucking moron.

Because there are no longer actual unbiased journalist. They have all been ruined by the respective colleges that they learned their trades at. Left or Right, they come out of these institutions with an ideology. No one can possible say that MSNBC is any better than fox.

I went to one of the best journalism schools in the nation over 50 years ago and we were taught the basics of journalism and there wasn't any political ideology involved whatsoever. BTW: MSNBC spends a great amount of time simply correcting the lies perpetrated by Fox News.

bill, i have the greatest respect for 'journalism', with the standards set by 'uncle walter'.
and i agree with what MSNBC is doing...but you have not made a point (outside of the lack of real journalism), as to why any network, news agency, etc. should spend resources
(time, money) correcting, or even commenting re" Fox", any more than would take on the 'cartoon network'. actually, this would only aid Fox by causing others to spend
on calling for the truth....Fox would love to see others use assets for this. - 2 years ago

Ryan: My problem with Fox is NOT what they report, but what they DON'T report. I have seen a story carried by MSNBC, CNN, the three major networks and most of the reputable print media to the letter, but when the Fox copy editors get through with the same story they sliced and diced it into something that is so far from the truth it is sickening. Their motto is We Report. You Decide. I think it should be: We Distort. You've been had.

wow 40 years.
what is your professional opinion of when msnbc doctors video of a black guy at a tea party to make it look like an angry white racist? Solid jounalism or propaganda?
Or when msnbc drags palin's family thru the mud when they are guilty of nothing -- all the while letting john edwards and his mistress and love child go without mention ---
Both of these were Fox correcting msnbc's "lack of real journalism".
When you say you have a problem with what fox doesn't report -- you are being disingenous and you lack cred.
In reality you hate fox because that's what your progressive masters have told you to do.

The ONLY people who have professional masters are Republicans and that is why Rush Limbaugh calls his followers "dittoheads," an acronym which means you can't think for yourself and you have to have someone like Limbaugh or the racist goons at Fox News think for you.

msnbc reported that it was white racists with guns(an attempt to malign tea partiers)
It was actually a black guy with guns so NO they concealed that from the public in order to MAKE a story to talk about.
I don't know about you but i dont think it is the job of a so-called news org to be making stories to trash people who don't agree with their lord barak.
msnbc's owner jeffry immelt earned a place in the administration for using his network to slant stories in obama's favor.

You reveal your ignorance -- so called "followers" of limbaugh use the term ditto as a substitute for saying "love your show", it has nothing to do with being a duplicate of rush limbaugh. ancient proverb "a fool answers a matter before hearing it out"
