Flouride is more toxic than lead, and only slightly less toxic then arsenic.

And it's in your water!

First of all, it needs to be stated that the 'substance' referred to as 'Fluoride' is a misnomer - there is no such substance listed in the periodic chart of the elements, nor in the prestigious CRC handbook, nor in the sacred 'bible' of the pharmaceutical industry - the illustrious 'Merck Index'. Instead, we find a GAS called Fluorine - and from the use of this gas in various industries such as aluminum manufacturing and the nuclear industry -certain toxic byproducts are created which have 'captured' fluorine molecules. One such toxic, poisonous 'byproduct' is called sodium Fluoride - which according to the Merck Index is primarily used as rat and cockroach poison and is also the active ingredient in most toothpastes and as an "additive to drinking water". But sadly, there is much more to this sordid tale.

    • I wonder why the green police dont say anything about this ? Where is the green peace movement? instead of saving whales and dolphins we need to save ourselves first and then the animal kingdom.

    • I read that fluoride kills brain cells. No fluoride for my family and definitely not for my children. Does anyone know if there is a refrigerator filter that removes fluoride from the water?

    • I've known this as long as I've been alive !!! & you'd honestly be shocked just how many products fluoride is actually in!!! You also find much more harmful stuff like types of metals in a hell of a lot of products!!! Honestly I'm not shocked that very few people seem to know about the harm this stuff can cause!!! With the way the world is,even if you were to take away war, it's shocking humans are alive at all!!! We poison ourselves in many ways!!! If you think fluoride is bad though you should take a look at what was found in some meals of the 14th century !!! They were knowingly putting led on food!!! We have so many dyes & chemicals in food these days,that fluoride is actually one of the more mild chemicals you can find in food!!! Kinda freaky really!!! Mix that with the fact that the average American diet just simply isn't that healthy to start with & it's a bit like "How the hell is there life in America???" Other products known to use fluoride include,but are clearly not limited to: Shampoo,Dish soap,Rat Poison,Liquid pipe cleaner!!!

    • floride is only in our water b/c the aluminum companies don't have anywhere else to dump this bi-product!! the only thing floride was used for before it was put in our water was rat poison!! very interesting?!?! the rich people in this country can get away w/ anything!!

      True story ! An ex of mine , while we were dating worked at a big aluminum company . He worked nights programming computers . Every night they would dump their waste fluoride on to the grass , then turn on the sprinkler system . Right over the local aquifer . Evil . as . sin .

      kiss my face brand also doesn't have any floride and i find the cool mint to be the best tasting- as far as no floride and organic toothpaste go!! i've tried 6 or 7 to come to this conclusion!! LoVe

      fluoride is good for you teeth, but it's not meant to be ingested. also, so what if it's harmless anyway, do you want ANY chemicals in your water? only about 90 chemicals are regualted in public water, but ALL public water supplies contain at least 200+ added chemicals. paranoia or not, there is little reason to regulate only 90 of the 200+ chemicals added to public whater. just a thought.

      A typical water filter will NOT remove the fluoride from the water. The type of filter that you need costs at least $200. There are some home models that are upwards of $700! The picture is a typical home model.

      it can't be filtered out trough standard filters, it's like salt in the water, it changes the water itself increasing acidity, making fluorinated water an acid. you can't filter out acid from acid... just as you can't filter out salt from sea water. one needs specialized equipment like a desalinator. distillation is about all that will work however the remaining water will have a higher concentration of fluorine compounds... so be sure to use the distilled stuff and NOT the source water.

      I'm aware. That doesn't mean you can't get one. It's really your choice and your fault if you choose to drink fluoride. I find it pretty funny that the government is so concerned about as all getting cavities.

    • I am not an authority here, but every dentist you speak with will tell you that flouridated water is a good thing and is not harmful to you.

      in light of this article... I am sure that all dentists are actually part of a large conspiracy (sarcasm).

      yes, a dentist will tell you that fluorine is good for your TEETH, but should NOT be ingested. and one does not need to ingest it to get it's benefits, and in fact ingestion does nothing to benefit teeth.

      No, most Doctors and./or dentists are just average students that do very little personal research and just go by the documents and textbooks they are given. The fluoride ones were done by the government. Only someone with a degree that would study these chemicals would actually understand what they do. Dentists don't concern themselves with studying each and every chemical in the products they use.
