    • I dont think anyone is calling bushy a mastermind. but a capitulation filled stooge who was bribed off cheaply... definitely possible!

but even if Jesse is right, so what!!!, there is no reform at the peoples request, reform only occurs when the business interests require consolidation of liquidity in new fields of business.

the biggest reform of all is the use of military power. that would change how we do business. . . which is UN "American"

    • 9/11 is chicken scratch. 45,000 people die every year for lack of health care. That's 15 times the number that died in 9/11, except it happens every year not just once. Meanwhile we send in 100,000 troops to Afghanistan at a cost of $1 million each per year to fight 100 al Qaeda who don't even exist there. For each one of our U.S. troops that is killed 240 innocent Muslims die, since the beginning of the Iraq war. The Iraq and Afghanistan wars will end up costing us $5 trillion at a minimum. Where do you think that money goes?

With that much money at stake all kinds of conspiracies are likely to happen and keep happening.

We use all that money to buy flashes new toys to rained holy christian terror on those worthless muslim dogs. You don't agree with the war fine, but don't show your ignorance by claiming the Tailiban and al Qaeda don't exist. Also comparing the lives lost on 911 and the lives lost to poor or no health care is reaching just a bit to far.

Bullshit. We use that money to line the pockets of corporations and politicians. You know that's true. We care nothing about the people, not ours, not theirs, not even yours.

Health care IS a comparable issue. We can spend all that money chasing after "worthless Muslim dogs" (a racist term, pink boy) while we let 45,000 of our own people die every year for lack of health care, unlike every other humane democracy on earth. We are deservedly the laughing stock of the world.

You don't fight for my freedom. You endanger and bring it liability so you can have a testosterone wet dream war fantasy, where white guys actually think they rule the earth. Grow up and face reality. War is racism. War is juvenile. War is obsolete. War is the height of criminality and if you condone it you are a criminal.

I shouldn't have used the term "worthless Muslim dogs" even in jest because your right it is an extremely ignorant and vulgar term and I cheapen myself by using it. You don't think I know that the "War on Terror" is just an excuse for the Industrial Military Complex to line their coffins with the riches of the dead. I truly believe in Health Care for all Americans. I come from a long tradition of soldiers and while I am sure you couldn't care less but I am proud of my service to my country. We are never going to ever even come close to reaching any sort of agreement on the Military or the War, so fuck it. Your right the military is a white man's playground. I was fast tracked and single out for mentorship mainly because I had a solid Catholic education (sure your going love that) and the right skin color. It is a know fact the most of the NCO's slots in combat arms are well educated and white. Also I can admit during advance infantry school and airborne school, I was a young 19yr punk who thought he was a terminator. I was quickly rob of that foolish juvenile fantasy very quickly. Ah, fuck it trying to discuss our radically different views about the war and the military are getting tiresome.

The Taliban and Al Qaeda do exist. However, they were both created and were/are funded the CIA. So, in essence one could claim that all of the terrorist attacks on the U.S. were CIA backed. Creates a convenient reason to go into an endless war on a thought pattern. Doesn't it?

The Taliban was created by Pakistan security intelligence service, al Qaeda was a self funded by extremely wealthy and powerful extremist militant muslims of Saudi and Egyptian descent. But they is no denying the fact that a prolonged war in Iraq and Afghanistan would be extremely profitable to various Industrial Military Corporations that line they coffers with the riches of the dead and conquered.

Hindsight so often distorts things especially for those looking to create conspiracy theories or blame theories. Neither were a creation of the CIA/US. You're giving them too much credit.

The Taliban was a grass roots movement that came out of the madrassa hence the name taliban which means students whereas al queda was Osama bin Laden's brainchild. Both of them were under the collective umbrella of the mujahadeen who were resisting the Soviet Invasion though the Taliban did not officially form until after the war but many of its followers including its leader fought against the Soviets.

It was the mujahadeen as a collective whole that the US supported in its Cold War policy of undermining the Soviets. The Taliban didn't exist until later and the Al Queda was just another group of resistance fighters. It was until the Saudis turned down OBL's request to take on Saddam Hussein in 1990 with his force in favor of the Americans that there was any animosity towards the US. As for the mujahadeen some of them became the Taliban, some become Al Queda, and some became the Northern Alliance which fought and has been fighting against both.

But anyway that is closer to the truth than the simplistic - "The US/CIA created our enemies" line that ill-informed people like to throw around.

and vice versa. Also keep in mind that oil, islamic fundamentalism, and the aftermath of WWI had a large impact in the middle east. The US did not get involved until the mid to late 30s when it negotiated with the Saudis over oil and really didn't have as large as influence in the region until after WWII

Ah, while having the official story and even some of the not so often reported details correct. There are many more dealings you seem to be unaware of. In summary, the Taliban and Al Qaeda were created by the U.S. As a matter of fact, originally nobody called themselves Al Qaeda, that was the name of the computer file at the CIA on suspected terrorists. The name means The File. Ooooh, scary! I will post details on our funding and creation of both organizations. Puhlease, this blind support of your country is not what the Founding Fathers expected of us. You must research in a little more detail than that my brothers before calling your half truth, truth, and the truth conspiracy. Now, after I rest, HERE COMES THE THUNDER! LOL.

Who said anything about blind support or is it that bringing out fact as oppose to conjecture infers blind support?

I realize it must give some people a sense of perverse comfort the notion that everything is being controlled by an elite group of evil men who fold their hands in a pyramid shape and laugh evilly saying "Yes, everything is going exactly according to plan! MUHAHAHAHA!!!"

and technically neither actually killed anyone but their decisions and the consequences of their actions resulted in the death of many; however you are right that Bush is in the minor leagues compared with Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. For one thing I blame the incompetency of him and his Admin for many of those deaths whereas the big three did so more deliberately and competently

Actually if you consider the reciprocal effects of George W's decisions one could easily assume that before the shockwaves have ended he will have killed more people than Hitler. Remember, if you go by the Red Cross numbers the Iraqi dead is ten times higher than the U.S. is reporting.

She says ' so because blah blah blah, You think 9.11 didn't happen'? what a bogus question. It happened all right, played well I might add. please pardon my lack of sensitivity. I will never forget that day. It was one of those events, for me like my mom used to talk about. Kennedy, Kent State, Lennon. Imprinted on our young minds. so many questions whirling.

All I can say is this. because for every one person who feels like me, there are five that would prefer to "look towards the future". But, the answers are all there. You follow the money, the government ties, the personal/business relationships, and it all paints a pretty clear picture of the incentives behind allowing something like 9.11 to occur. It's actually not difficult at all to understand.

Those of us unwilling to take a closer look at some of the details, accept the official account. Those are the people, perhaps whose entire realities are tied into believing in people's innate "goodness". I don't know. My whole world, is observed through the lens that there are controlling forces. whether or not they are necessary, the controlling forces that is, atrocities like 9.11 are just tools used to manipulate our perceptions.

    • I feel the exact same way that Jesse Ventura feels. All of this was misplaced and a direct conflict of error. I don't think they should have ever went to Iraq in the first place. They don't belong there now? I think this was just because George Bush had personal reason's of his own to attack Saddam Hussein. He and they aren't any of the people who bombed the Twin Tower's in N.Y. I am beginning to wonder if this was all an act by the USA themselves??? Wouldn't that be so discusting, I wouldn't put anything past them myself. Your talking to a Native American who know's how ugly the Govt can be when they want something to go to any extend to get their way, it's their way or NO WAY at ALL???

    • it is our fault due to the fact that we have become lax in paying attention to our election process. People pay attention to baseball or football more than who we are putting into office. Many I have talked to don't even vote because they feel that it dos'nt matter any more. The election process is a legal revolution, if we are not satisfied with the present way things are run then we can fire the bum. Many allow the media to think for them or allow the fact their family voted one way forever so they must vote that way too. It should fall to all U.S. citezens to look at the issues and vote the way they feel. If you don't vote don't gripe. We should watch out for each other as our contrymen befor all others.

Because we take our freedom for granite, and have for decades. Why don't we hit the streets and protest and shut down business like the French do? Because we are stupid and don't know what you are supposed to do in a democracy. We have been dumbed down so far that we may never make a comeback, the plan has worked to a tee. During the sixties the elite could see we had to big of a middle class that could afford to send their kids too college where they began to protest an ever unpopular war. That was not good for business so a rising star was brought to the for front ( Ronal Reagan) then the governor of California that at the time made college for free if you had the grades too make it. So this rising star got rid of that Socialistic system cause that made too many people think for themselves. Once he became President the Tax cut agenda took place and the rich got richer and the chances of a middle class having any free time to protest got slimmer. It's been all downhill since then and thus we have stupid working people brain washed by Rush and Beck to vote against their own best interests. Name one thing any Republican bill passed has ever benefited a working stiff, you can't and yet these dumb-asses dumbed downed by 30 years of Reagan economics will still vote for the Republican. These people have made us a retarded nation of illiterate morons and they continue even today by not getting on the correct side and change the healthcare situation in this country. OOOHHH they are now tea baggers and think somehow they are fighting for freedom. They have been fooled once again to attack the Obama man because he wants Socialism, my god Obama has not changed one thing to socialism and probably is more of a centrist than a liberal! Can you see the stupid trend these morons keep going on, and they keep fucking it up for everyone in America that has been over worked and under paid for decades. When will you wake these fuckers up and shake some sense into them?
