    • The PGA and Master's just held a press conference to basically say that Tiger is bad. Jesus... either let him play, or don't, just shut the fuck up

    • Tiger's personal weaknesses should have no reflection on his competitive performance. His failure to meet sponsor requirements will certainly flog his wallet. But, he is an adult and is free to make his own choices, good or bad. God knows that I have made some bad choices, as most of us have, also. He is a premiere athlete and an icon for many golfers, I hope that he will overcome his personal problems and reach the status that his talent deserves. If so, he will truly become the greatest Legend in golf.

Tiger also said privately, "Thank God for American amnesia. At least some things can be counted on. He also said, "Fuck public opinion. I care about sponsor opinion. Just remember, O.J. is still walking around a free man and Johnny Cochran is dead from a brain tumor."

That's what they said about Kobe Bryant when he was accused of raping an underage girl. But look at Kobe now. He's transcended all of that stuff and is one of the greatest NBA stars of all time.

If and when Tiger breaks Jack Nicklaus's record of 18 majors, this story will be a thing of the past.
