Dog joins troops on parachute jump in Norway

A dog trained to sniff out explosives by the Austrian SAS team joins the parachute forces for jumps. The dogs play a important role with the army to find explosives, so I'm guessing the jump is so they can transport trainer and animal.

"They don't perceive height difference the same way humans do, so that doesn't worry them. They're more likely to be bothered by the roar of the engines, but once we're on the way down, that doesn't matter and they just enjoy the view."

The dog are strapped and equipped with a special muzzle to protect the dog when landing. Picture is from a training exercise in Norway.
