The article says a Leeds based adoption charity Catholic Care, won an appeal against a previous Charity Commission ruling. The commissions ruling prevented charities from turning down adoptive parents because of the applicants sexual orientation.
The charity claims that by complying 'it would be forced to give up its work finding homes for children'
However, other Catholic groups have changed their polices or closed down after the ruling.
This is a set back for the Charity Commission, who have now been ordered "to reconsider the case in the light of his judgment."
