Lt. Dan Choi, Captain Pietrangelo & GETEqual CoChair Robin McGehee have
been arrested at the White House over the “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” policy. They
chained themselves to the White House fence. It seems when Choi asked to
speak to the Human Rights Campaign rally he was turned down. When Choi
spoke despite objections that he was at Kathy Griffin's rally the crowd left
Freedom Plaza & followed him to the White House. There the crowd grew &
witnessed the arrests. Updates to Come....WATCH VIDEO on Link Below

They pleaded not guilty so that they will get a trial. They cannot be jailed if found guilty of the charge but could be fined up to $1,000. Their trial will be held on April 26th.

Here is the question, does having an orientation make Choi's service any less than any other service members? In Europe they allow people that have made different lifestyle choices to serve openly in the military. Does that make their military inept or ineffective? We know we have people serving in the military now who are gay. Do you think those people will somehow ruin the military?
The interesting question arises is when and if the President orders the JCS to get rid of don't ask don't tell. Will they allow same sex married couples to live in base housing together? Will they be able to receive healthcare if they have a partner? Will a marriage certificate be accepted from the states that are allowing it? Will that then force the military and hence the Govt to accept these changes in every aspect federally? Will each state have a choice? If a military base is federal property the military will have to abide. When they go off base will the state have to accept the federal laws?

WOW, that's a pretty big violation of the UCMJ right there. Dishonorable discharge at the very least.
