Texas Board Endorses Conservative Curriculum

The Texas Board of Education last week approved new standards for its social studies curriculum that will put a conservative stamp on history and economics textbooks, stressing the superiority of American capitalism and presenting Republican political philosophies in a more positive light.

    • why in the world would we let Texas choose our education standards? Other people make books, spend your money elsewhere, non-fundamentlaist Christian states. Duh, were not in Russia, its not the only choice.
