U.S. Veterans Returning Home To Unemployment

The Labor Department says that the unemployment rate last year for young Iraq and Afghanistan veterans hit 21.1 percent, reflecting a tough obstacle combat veterans face as they make the transition home from war. The number was well above the 16.6 percent jobless rate for non-veterans of the same ages, 18 to 24.

    • Every item, activity, or Industry in Consumerism can be blown up, perpetuated in a faster cycle to generate a larger amount of profit. And inevitably, based on a basic principle, if you continue to blow up the bubble endlessly, it will pop. Perhaps with such enormous volume as to knock over entire economies. One example: the housing market. Another: the Auto Industry. Currency? Insurance?

      So here's a new Bubble that might seem either unusal or has just gone unrecognized for too long: Our Military Bubble. The problem is we have such a huge budget for our military that virutally anyone can find a Military job with ease. In return our Military has grown so massive that to end war, to end and cease our battles could result in many Soldiers without work who haven't found another career. The question is, how high will our employment become if we end our War Business?
