The Tea Baggers carry signs that say; "Keep Government out of my health care" However most of them look like they are on Medicare and Medicaid and those are government programs put in place by the Democrats.

    • Gun violence should never be taken lightly and the slogan on the sign targeted a specific person but our obsession with the Tea Party is reaching the absurd. The more attention the media gives them the more people join up not even aware of the Party's "Political Agenda". Waring to the American public, while they are for the most part idiots and morons they are organized and will vote in bulk. If you disagree with they political views you must do that same.

Freedom of speech is part of our heritage, but when you yell "Fire" in a crowded theater you can and should be arrested. The Tea Party crowd are a fanatical lot and one of these days I will be telling people I told you so.

It doesn't seem like people realize that when you actually threaten the life of someone, its a crime. When you name specific peoples names, important politicians, presidents, you could justifiably be arrested/ questioned... why do people think that this is ok?

I am going to let our law enforcement agencies take care of these people that advocate and follow through with violence or break the law. The same law enforcement that is paid for by your taxes. If you do indeed pay taxes? Or are you part of the new America that is moving towards small militia bands? Do you live in rural Idaho?

I just figure @tenletterz is some video game-obsessed U.S. teenager, who doesn't leave the house house very often and DEFINITELY has never left his own country, let alone his own town.

So, in that respect, I have sympathy for his kind of misanthropy. But no, it's not an acceptable way to actually LIVE...

While I agree there are limitations to Freedom of Speech, yelling "FIRE" for no reason in a crowded area is a simple but perfect example of this. But, one ignorant idiot with a slogan reading something along the lines of "If Brown doesn't care of this, Browning Will" is vulgar and stupid. I don't think this qualifies as hate speech or will incite violence. It just cements the fact that this nation is still extremely polarized and filled with hateful, racist assholes.

The restrictions on Freedom of Speech concerning hate crimes or threats of violence against specific people are widely open to legal inturpation. While Brown was singled out, I don't believe the threat of violence was real.
