Detectives have started a murder investigation after a 26-year-old Turkish woman was found shot dead in east London.
Emergency services were called to reports of a shooting at a home in Clapton on Monday evening.
They found the victim with fatal injuries and she was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.
A post-mortem examination is to take place later. The woman's family have been informed.
The shooting took place on Kingsmead Way at about 2030 GMT.
