Today, Virgin Galactic’s first commercial spaceship successfully completed her maiden voyage. However, even at $200,000 per ticket, how are we supposed to believe this nascent industry will become sustainable?

    • It won't. However, that design - a two hulled jet craft is a good one for the basis of a space program - where drop-shuttles are supplied, packed and launched on a daily schedule. No more huge fuel tanks to hold the fuel necessary to attain orbit. High-flying dual-hulled aircraft - that even hook together, wing-tip to wing-tip and huge, always flying loading platforms. Tens of crew-people going into and from space every day.
One project, of course, is a fleet of craft being built in orbit that will go to Mars.

All for the cost that an airline puts into it's regular passenger fleet.
Not staggering money as these imbeciles have been planning.

If you want to go to Mars, just go. Most of these dummies want to go to Vegas more than they want to accomplish anything in space.
