John Forsythe (born John Lincoln Freund) the suave, charming, gracious actor who became everyone's favorite patriarch through three enormously successful television series, most particularly Aaron Spelling's Dynasty, died on Thursday after a yearlong battle with cancer. Mr. Forsythe was 92.
