RP takes no part in the highly lucrative congressional retirement package. He opts out.
Married 50 yrs, no scandals, and has 5 grown children who were not allowed to accept the scholarships most of them had received, his children were not allowed to take out loans for advanced schooling. (College)

No TARP or Bailout huh? Every major bank in this country would be bankrupt, so they wouldn't be lending any money to business for payroll, banks would have had to sell every asset they had, the market would have been flooded with inventory, homes prices would have crashed even further, this would have caused even more foreclosures, the economy would have ground to a halt and we would be in the second great depression. Stock market crashes wiping out everyone savings, gold prices soar making Ron Paul extremely rich. Nice one.
