Having any contact with a Sadhu is considered Holy. Even looking at a picture of one of these Indian Holy men brings good feelings and calms the soul. Kumbh Mela is the worlds oldest and largest religious gathering in the world. Attending one of these festivals brings good luck and washes away old karma. It is even a chance to become enlightened.
