Creation of new Indian state would bring water allocation tensions

JanforGore
In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, calls for a separate state for people in the Telangana region have raised tensions in recent weeks.

If a separate state is created, natural resources would have to be divided between Andhra and Telangana.

Many farmers say their biggest worry is who will have control of water from the Krishna river, which runs through Telangana and other Andhra regions.

The river is a vital source of sustenance for millions of people.

    • Of course Andhra people need the water sources. So as the people who really deserve it. Where is the justice, when the water not accessible to the places where it is actually coming from(The Telangana). When Andhra is merged with the Richest Telangana state, the situation was different. Andhra with the money power, and political power took all the water resources from Telangana and made it a desert. Now people seeking justice. Of course they will. People from Telangana have been fighting from 5 decades, that they never accepted actual merger with Andhra. So as the results reflected, turned Telangana into a desert.
Andhra got so used to it, however they should know the basic human rights and what exactly people deserve.
