What the country wants is a community solution to the problems but not necessarily a federal government solution.

    • That article is completely wrong.

FIrst off, a general question like that is irrelevant- I don't trust the government completely, who would? I don't trust ANYONE completely. We have a system of checks and balances, of verification and responsibility, and for the most part, I trust the system.

Second, how does this reflect poorly on Obama's administration? His approval rating is still high, and people's opinions of the TeaParty are way low.

Distrust of the government could simply reflect disgust with the current political climate, filled with filibusters and partisanship instead of elected officials doing their jobs.

      Third, they say:

Democrats are emphasizing the federal government, while Republicans are saying it’s about the individual.

Since when do Republicans say it's about the individual? They want to put all power into the hands of the corporations, not the individuals.
