This is wonderful! Don't you see what this all means! Now the only way a kid can afford a good education (unless born into a wealthy family) is by joining the military! Do you see how awesome this is! By destroying the economy and then jacking up the cost of education, the only way a young adult can get ahead is by joining the military. This is a brilliant way for the Military Industrial Complex to escalate the war without instilling a draft! Pure genius! Totally awesome! Go War! Let's keep going until there is nothing left! Woo-hoo!

I am a student at Texas A&M, and while Texas is better off financially than most states, I am still seeing tuition hikes and hikes in other miscellaneous fees.... Meal plans are more expensive next semester and there are additional "differential tuition" fees.. what a joke.

It's so hard being a college student right now because not only do we have to deal with the increase of tuition every year, but then we have to worry about paying off our student loans after we graduate.

I’m glad to be graduating soon. My tuition goes up by 3X the rate of inflation every year.

A sad status indeed, I love education. That is exactly why I know the following, a great percentage of education is business, and culture. You want to get an education? Find as much resources as possible, and those are not necessarily found in a school facility.
Educational resources are found everywhere, anywhere, and at all times. The cultural way of getting educated is not the only one available. A simple example: observe at those who are home schooled, they turn out very intelligent, and finish their objective at a faster pace.
Seeking just one method limits oneself, just like religion. Staying with one tactic its not enough, of course that is only for the few passionate about being someone else in their everyday life.

The same thing happened in Georgia. We held a black-out day in opposition to it, and a petition was held in Atlanta. How taxing on education even became a proposition is absurd.

My school is cutting a lot of Kinesiology and Art courses fall 2010, so much for helping people with the whole obesity thing for me.
