With the support of 70 percent of its citizens, Arizona has ordered sheriffs and police to secure the border and remove illegal aliens, half a million of whom now reside there.

    • conspiracy theory alert:
      i think this is all drummed up by the republicans.create a ficticious problem (az immigration law) wich is unconstitutional then take credit for actively repealling this tragedy thus giving a boost to themselves come election time.
      kinda like gangsters offering protection to business's who dont need it.they damage the business to show the need of thier protection.
      why else pass blatenly unconstitutional legislation while your party is on the ropes?

    • This will cost Arizona more money than it could ever possibly save. Even conceding that this program is modestly successful, there will be a few who will win lawsuits because they have indeed been discriminated against. This was not the solution.
