Activists Clash with Israeli Troops: Raw Video

mdirenzo
At least one person was arrested on Tuesday (April 27) after scuffles broke out between anti-barrier activists and Israeli border police at the construction site of the controversial West Bank barrier.

Approximately a dozen activists disrupted construction of the barrier, blocking a bulldozer near the village of al-Walaja in the West Bank.

One activist fought with police as they tried to arrest him. He was eventually handcuffed and led away by the security forces.

Anti barrier demonstrators linked arms and sat in front of the path of the bulldozer, temporally halting construction activities. Israeli border police eventually broke up the protest, carrying foreign activists away from the construction site.

Israel began building its barrier of fences and walls at the height of the Palestinian uprising that began in 2000. The wall now runs along most of the West Bank border, encroaching at many points into Palestinian territory.

Israeli leaders say the barrier is a temporary obstacle, and could be removed once a peace agreement with the Palestinians is signed and attacks on Israel cease.

The International Court of Justice say the barrier is illegal and should be taken down because it crosses occupied territory.

man the terror of israel.the fear of freedom, just frightening.it makes perfect sense how terrorized the palestinians would be at such a thing.

    • interesting editing on this video its kinda like the current pod that shows the israelis shooting a teenager then follows his family and friends as they take him to the er and dies.
interesting cuz there is alot more to that film then that clip showed. the preceeding 5 minutes of video showed him along with other kids yelling for all of them to attack the israelis as they ran towards them hurling whatever they could grab.
its like that kid who kicks ya in the nuts and taddles when you punch him in the face.i dont know teacher i was just minding my own when all of a sudden for no reason he hit me in the face, not false but far from true

    • The wall is as temporary as the wall between Mexico and the United States. Same people making them even.
Also, "controversial" barrier? how about completely illegal?

    • All on has to do is research the history of Ashkenazi to see where true zionist nazism was born. If you believe that descendants of Abraham were white then i got some good rapture insurance I'd love to sell you...or maybe some carbon credits?

    • In Israel these kinds of things have a tradition of going very badly for the activists involved. One truism used to be that any Palestinian protester put into an Israeli ambulance was likely to never be seen alive again, even if they went into the vehicle with minor injuries.

Of course if these are Israeli or western protesters they will be treated much much better. I notice the only person pulled into a van was of a much darker complexion and not speaking english like the others. He didn't really really freak out until he saw the vehicle. Also the old Palestinian lady went ballistic to when they opened the back doors. That wasn;t an angry scream eather, that was a fear scream. I wonder if he is still alive.

i agree most certainly drug use isnt a factor in this situation but niether is it at anti-war protests where people behiave identically or in churches where people behave identically.
its why if you live in say jamaica queens or hempstead li you dont react to every scream. they are issued more often then they are warrented
