I'm sure the universe it teeming with life. One light year = 5.87849981 × 10*12 miles. Multiply that by 13.7 billion. That's lot of space for us to be alone in.
I think almost anything is scientifically possible. All we need to figure out is how to access the multiverses.

What? The only life in the universe is here on Earth? Is that what you think?

Since it's been proven by means of a 2007 naturalist scientific experiment
that the element of water is not only alive but is also intelligent life...
And since H2O exists in a lot of places in the universe (one of the
moons of the outer planets has a large ocean at its center), it stands
to reason that E.T. life could exist virtualy anywhere water does. Mars
once had a lot of water before its revolving core causing magnetosphere
stopped which caused the atmosphere to vanish, and the water to receed to the
poles, and underground. - 2 years ago

Water is the key to life everywhere in our universe, that is why we have been investigating our closest neighbors searching for the much needed evidence to support this hypothesis.
Personally I believe the water itself is alive and react to human thoughts; like the "Dust" in the "His Dark Materials" series of books beginning with "The Golden Compass" by Philip Pullman.
