An investigation in Lancashire is looking into council reports that a 14 year old boy voted in the Wyre Borough Council area.
"This is a potentially a criminal offence and the matter has therefore been referred to the police who are responsible for any further investigations into this and Wyre Borough Council will assist as necessary."-Jim Corry quote from BBC
This is more bad news for polling station who are under some scrutiny over people being turned away from voting at 10pm last night. Though it sounds like the under age vote won't change the results for Wyre, which was won by Ben Wallace for the Conservatives.

They sent a voting card out to a baby in the Bicester area and three children in my local authority due to "administrative error", what if an adult had taken those cards down to the polling station and voted in their place? The person at the polling station wouldn't know the cards belonged to children rather than the adult who turned up with them.
