Remember Sachsgate? well back with the frenzy of the story one former editor of the Daily Telegraph Charles Moore decided to protest by not paying the licence fee until Ross was sacked from the BBC.

However, he faced the court over his protest which ended in a £262 fine because he refused to pay the licence fee and still watched television.

"Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Mr Moore said he told Hastings Magistrates Court it was "against [his] conscience" to pay for the "weird ideology which thinks that cruel jokes by Ross are justified because they 'push the boundaries'"."-BBC
