Know the enemies of the earth among us. If you've ever wondered why clean energy legislation is always stalled or voted down, consult this list of corrupt oil/coal company reps that also happen to be public officials. You may be shocked (or not) to find a representative from your home state on this unwanted list.

    • I have neighbors who purposely leave their lights on 24-hours just to protest against environmentalism and conservation. I've heard Glen Beck promote this also, "keep the incandescent bulbs on". Adult Americans in general are not very worldly. Americans seem to think they are entitled to use and pollute as much as they want and do not think or care about the consequences of their actions. Even now there is a big push to invest in silver and gold. There are polluting consequences to the mining of these products. People around the world are dying so that Americans can feel superior and rich. Now one of the externalities of oil use has reached our shores. The true cost should be reflected in the price of these commodities.

It's amazing to me that these people can be so heartless to vote for more drilling when this tragedy continues to unfold before our eyes. They are so out of sync with the rhythms of life.
