A recent YouTube video, entitled “2 Year Old Smoking Cigarette” is currently making it’s way around the Internet. Although the video is making quite a stir, one must wonder why people are so anxious to see this little boy partaking in such a bad habit at such an early age.

Much of the cigarette smoking has a lot to do with sponsorship and the willingness of tobacco companies to sponsor activities... otherwise lacking sponsors.

The video has been removed, but the excellent example of child abuse remains. Cigarettes are cheaper in other countries because the it is dependent upon how they are taxed. In countries where food is scarce, there are many methods (most unhealthy) to stave off hunger pangs. The other problem is a lack of education and that life is generally cheap in populations living in extreme poverty.
This is sad but it is a symptom of larger problems.
