Debrahlee Lorenzana is filing a lawsuit against Citibank because they fired her, she says, for the strangest reason: she’s too hot.

She’s 5’5”, 125 pounds and well, you’ve seen her photo.

Her bosses told her that “as a result of the shape of her figure, such clothes were purportedly ‘too distracting’ for her male colleagues and supervisors to bear,” she says.

    • I doubt she was fired because she was too attractive. That is just her story. She is probably incompetent and in denial. There are lots of attractive people in this world - she is not unique in that respect.

    • Lets get this straight she give Rachael Welsh a run for her money. I saw a video of her walking with her 4 inch heels. she wobbled in a VERY distracting way. As A manager I've had to tell people about BO, over use of make-up, and yes under and over style sense in clothes.

Lets look at the whole picture.

    • I think it's a valid reason. If I had to work with this woman, I'd get fired in a heartbeat - and I have a strong ethic and history of avoiding situations and people like that (in the work place).
There's no way I'd be able to get any work done.
It's like waving a steak in front of a lion saying, "you can't have this delicious piece of steak. Try and we'll shoot you" Resisting meat is against the lion's nature.

The only way she'd be effective is if she were the boss. Men instinctively try to provide for women. So, on top of her holding your paycheck, you'd also more for her just to get praise and attention.

I think we should put an end to the double-standard of sexual harassment in the workplace. Women are only harassed by advances they don't want. If an advance isn't given, then how do you know that they do/don't want it? If they do want it, then it's ok. If not, it's punished.
As men, we are taught that we should chase women, and not the other way around. But God forbid that you're ugly, or awkward. Because the instant you look at her the wrong way, guess what. -Law suit!

      p.s. that woman is perfect.
