Organic farming is the solution to global warming

The solutions to climate change/global warming are as simple as looking right beneath our feet and in the sky: The sun and the soil. We are destroying the climate balance of our planet and the health of ourselves and our food through fossil fuel driven GMO industrial agriculture, and in looking for energy sources in holes we dig rather then looking to the soil and above to the sun- which can sequester the carbon necessary to take 1.5 billion cars off the road and provide enough energy to power our globe for a year in the time it takes the sun to hit our planet for only fifteen minutes! This is a no brainer. How can the solutions be so damn easy and STILL we sit lamenting the bleeding of our planet?
Sustainable agriculture is the answer to global warming along with penalizing corporations like Monsanto that do not adhere to sustainable moral business practices. The time has come to see what is right in front of us instead of continuing to "debate" while basically moving ourselves towards that abyss because we are too politically and ideologically driven and polarized to look at the big picture.
We are running out of time to do what is necessary to turn this all around, even enough to buy future generations more time. So for World Environment Day, plant a natural seed. You will by that one simple gesture be doing your part in working to fight off the effects of our greed and selfishness in pursuit of a false choice. it would be truly tragic to one day reach the end realizing we had the solutions in our hands all along. An ironic epitaph, and one we can avoid.
