Australia in sex-tourism prevention campaign

Australia is taking action to prevent sex tourism and protect children overseas from being exploited and abused. The BBC article, says any Australians found guilty of abuse over seas can get a 25 year jail sentence. The government in Australia placed adverts in newspapers to highlight the new law.

"Hetty Johnston from the Queensland-based child protection charity, Bravehearts, says sex tourists should have no place to hide...Over the weekend, a 72-year-old man was extradited from Portugal to face a court in Sydney on child sex charges that date back more than a decade. "-BBC
