So much for transparency. So much for accountability. Remember those bright promises made a couple years ago, opening up a new era of hope and change? In fact, you can still read those promises made by our President on the official government web site. I’ll quote some of it:
My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.
Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing. Information maintained by the Federal Government is a national asset. My Administration will take appropriate action, consistent with law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use. Executive departments and agencies should harness new technologies to put information about their operations and decisions online and readily available to the public. Executive departments and agencies should also solicit public feedback to identify information of greatest use to the public.
Done laughing? (Or crying?)

This was such a joke. Thank God these Democrats wised up. This whole "audit the fed" was nothing more than a ploy for political attention.

Of course. They dont' want anything to get in the way of their power grab and authority over the people. We should have elected Ron Paul for president. He has the right ideas.

Keep tweeking it and submitting it! The People deserve to know the truth!
Has anyone else noticed how cocky banks and credit cards have gotten with their policies since the senate bailed out many banks and big businesses? It's like they think their untouchable and their customers are just tiny peons...
Hey, banks and credit cards, you need our money to be in business don't you? - 1 year ago

we have a right to know, its our moeny they are "borrowing" which we know they wont pay back, sure we know where some of the bigger chunks went but why not let us know where all of it went, we people avoid telling you something then they are hiding it, and they only hide what went wrong!

Give me a break. Auditing the FED is just a stupid idea to begin with. We already know where the money went, we know it went to the car companies and to the banks. What would an audit provide that we don't already know? It would be a waste of time and money. Ron Paul knows this but he wants to dissolve the FED so what does he care.

Also since you know everything. Who owns the Feds. Who is making money off the interest we pay?
