Does America Have a Water Crisis? (Video Interview with Robert Glennon)

Dorothee
Have you ever considered how much it costs to keep unlimited clean water flowing into your faucets at home? Or how much water goes into growing all the food that you eat? Can you imagine our supply of water running out?

These are topics we explored during our interview with Robert Glennon, Professor of Law and Public Policy at the University of Arizona and author of "Unquenchable: America's Water Crisis and What To Do About It". He is on a mission to hold government and individuals responsible for true stewardship of our greatest resource: water.

    • Dorothee, did you know that water is a living, intelligent element ?
In 2007 there was a Documentary performed by natural scientists
in which Marlee Matlin played an acting part. In the Documentary
many natural scientists were interviewed and gave their take on the
life sciences. They also performed a natural science exdperiment.
Theorizing that water might be alive, and intelligent because it
absorbs even infra red wavelengths quickly, yet gives them up slowly,
they did the following. A scientist placed 4 large glass beakers of
pure, fresh water on the floor of his laboratory. Before he left that
evening, closed off the lights and went home, he placed 4 recorders
facing the water on which were printed in large letters in English,
essential human concepts: Love, Hope, Sympathy,Understanding.
When he returned during the daylight hours, he removed the recorders.
On each, he found a distinctly different geometric pattern recorded
as an intelligent response demonstrating intelligent understanding.
The title of the Documentary is: " What the bleep do WE know anyway!!! ??? "
Back in the 1960s we used to say that humans are only 98 cents worth
of chemicals with a soul. We never suspected back then that it's not
simply water that gives us life.. But rather that we are alive because we
contain The Water, which is alive. And that we are intelligent because
The Water is. We can credit God with the soul part at least.

    • And now with the Great Lakes open to priivitization as well this is even more important, especialy as the effects of climate change and poor infrastructure are being seen. Thank you for covering this important topic. It surely isn't covered enough.
