At least 15 of Newsweek's top 50 rabbis are New Yorkers

Newsweek magazine has announced its annual list of the 50 most influential American rabbis, and at least 15 of the 50 are New Yorkers (tri-state NY/NJ/CT metropolitan area). All major streams of American Judaism are represented on Newsweek's list, but at least seven of the 15 New Yorkers are Orthodox.
