BECK, NOT JUST GREEDY WITH A MESSIAH COMPLEX, BUT A TAD RACIST TOO, ALL IN ONE NON-STORY.

freecrack
Apparently despite accepting money for, and promoting a gathering at the lincoln memorial on Martin Luther King day, Beck has yet to secure the required permits. Can you really go on the public airwaves and solicite funds like this?
His "plan" was to gather his legions at the Lincoln monument, on Martin Luther King day.
Glenn is taking donations (greedy) for his plan (messiah complex) that happens to be occuring at the site of the "i have a dream speech" on Martin Luther King day,(RACIST)despite not securing the basic requirments to facilitate it(corrupt).

    • Glenn Beck reminds me so much of Jim Bakker all he needs is a Tammy. So he can beg for money and cry on cue.

so glenn is just so much more aware of what it means to be an american, as he so readily states via his interpratation (not the supreme court but his) of the constitution, yet was so unaware of our history he planned his "worship me" fest on the anniversary of the mlk speech, coincidentaly at the ae site.either hes is full of shit on one front.he either forgot the significance of the day, despite damn near every calender he would mark it on stating it,making him as patriotic as my dog,or he knew full well what he was doing and as always, trying to back peddle from bad ideas that offend the public.

as of the time of this stories posting, the national park service had yet to recieve a request from glenn beck, for his supposed rally.he can say what ever he likes, but the cold hard facts are that this exists more in his head (like most of his drivle) than in reality.

    • He says he has "read" the letters of the founder fathers and now he knows the exact disposition of these men. Just like a fanatic reads a religious scripture and says he is intone with "God."

when all is said and done, most likely our constitution will end up being the basis for new religious scriptures.kind of like how after the jews fled egypt all of a sudden they recieved the ten commandments (like previously killing and lieing were totaly acceptable) and the torah, that mimicks egyptian alagory.as i think of it, it was like the first merger or united nations, taking all the gods and combining them into one.
in a thousand years our founding fathers will most likely be shown as prophets, or theyre writings will be attributed to a created emalgum of all of them.
freedom of speech wont be an ammendment it will be a law from god, given to us through his messenger or messengers.

the really scary part is that mormonism (not all but enough) believe in contemperary prophets, and beck is making a play for it with out us even noticing.the traditional mormon method is looking into a hat for divine inspiration, so dont be surprised if we one day see glenn using a similar prop to validate his message, being as he has already gone so far as to say god is talking to him, more than the rest of us,

the aspects of theyre faith that leave them vulnerable to exploitation should be adressed, kind of like islams submission deal.its a nice idea, and if we all actualy submitted ourselves to god the world would be a much better place, but it also creates problems. multitudes of people who dont question ideas when they are presented in the name of god.like strapping bombs to theyre kids.

mormonism is vulnerable in that at all times a human being is expected to be an active prophet, with no safeguard against someone using that positin for personal gain.its like having a corperation that has systematic financial oversite of all its employees, except for the one who handles the money.nothing bad would happen right

    • so far the old standards have wieghed in with sharpton, and rev jesse jackson issuing condemnations of the proposed event, as well as i suspect every african american also taking offense.im as white as they come, and im offended.
maybe the left should organize a rally, at the hospital where beck was born, on his birthday.i think a pro choice rally would be fitting.

Arrogant bastard. I propose we as a nation just stop paying attention to him for a few months. MAYBE he'll go away.

i used to think that.but if we pay attention to his offenses (racism and such) and ignore the shinanagins (god talks to me) maybe it would be a benefit to us,as a society.it seems beck gets a bit of a pass, cuz hes the crazy guy.if we ignored the crazy stuff, and focused on the offensive shit he does, maybe the destructive nature of his efforts will be negated.just theorizing.

i havent listened to him in a while, but he is racist.not as bad as rush but still is none the less.i think organizing a rally at the place of african american cultures greatest public offering, on its anniversary is a tad racist.its like if someone tried to rebrand december 25th

while lincoln and mlk have given us legacy's that are vast in theyre respective rights, adressing the mass's at the lincoln momorial itslef is a unique event unto itself, and shouldnt be replicated, if respected.
once again imagine if someone was trying to organize a rally, on jesus's birthday, at the site of his exicution, to share his/her new world vision.its cheap parlor trick stuff.no one since mlk has felt the need to do this, but now, the messiah doughboy has delusions of grandure that make him think he is even romotely in the same league as the greats who came before him.
