Toxicologists: Corexit “Ruptures Red Blood Cells, Causes Internal Bleeding”, “Allows Crude Oil To Penetrate “Into The Cells” and “Every Organ System”

Friday, July 9, 2010

As I have previously noted, Corexit is toxic, is less effective than other dispersents, and is actually worsening the damage caused by the oil spill.

Now, two toxicologists are saying that Corexit is much more harmful to human health and marine life than we’ve been told.

Specifically Gulf toxicologist Dr. Susan Shaw – Founder and Director of the Marine Environmental Research Institute – dove into the oil spill to examine the chemicals present.

    • Nice death sentence, bleed to death or critical organ failure. And people want to be paid to work with htis stuff, cleaning up beaches and placing booms for BP who's killing them softly and quietly and will never pay squat

    • BP executives thought this was the best option to clean the Gulf? So it should not come as a surprise as they fill every ocean up with oil. If there is any justice in the world, BP execs should be executed.

No, they shouldn't be executed, that's too humane for what they've done
No, they simply need to disappear. I think they should be handed over to the most experienced torturer's on this planet, and let them have their way with them. Video's of there torture and eventual death put on the internet, and whatever's left of their bodies dragged through the streets, then left to be devoured by nature in a public viewing site.
It's what the Russian's did to SS officer's after the liberation of extermination camps, it's a fitting end for these assholes.
Plus it would send a message to all the oil companies out there, fuck the environment, and be ready to pay the consequence's.

wasn't it the American public who shouted and screamed to do "anything" as quickly as possible when Deepwater Horizon initially sank? And isn't it now the American public who is complaining tirelessly about gaining EPA approval before implementing new clean-up efforts?
I am by no means supporting BP but it seems no matter what happens, how it happens or who does it the American public is never satisfied.
