Murder 1 is still THE Capital Felony with no Statute of Limitations
in any State of the USA. Don't count on them to look the other way.
Federal Law maintains that every citizen born and naturalized here
is a citizen of 2 Soverign Governments. There would be no Soverign
authority of any State of America if they let anyone get away with
Murder 1. And announcing intent of malice aforethought only 1.
guarantees those stupid enough to commit to Murder 1 will be caught
and executed., and 2. that such malice aforethought legitimately
qualifys as terrorism. The Courts haen't vanished because of wishful
thinking either. - 1 year ago

This govt has become so irresponsibly lawless with the populace having lost any control of our representative govt that there should be no denying that we've become no less than an oligarchy.

Ok is this really new? The patriot act, given to us by a republican president passed by republicans in congress, and dems too, i blame them all for this one. But this is what is in the patriot act, blatant violations of rights, both for citizens and international citizens. The time has come to repeal the patriot act and do it now!

so tell me young warrior, which part of the patriot act directly or indirectly affected you or any other law abiding citizen? dont think any telephone conversations you have are worthy of monitoring. so i think you are safe.....for now. and if youre a good boy you probably wont end up on obamas assasination hit list....for now.

It is not relavant whether or not it has directly or indirectly affected me. The point is that the act in its entirty is unconstitutional and isnt it the tea party that's keeps blowing all this noise about how the founding fathers would have wanted it? About protecting and preservin the constitution, doesnt that same right wing philosiphy apply when the right violates seperation of church and state? I say defend the constitution when it directly opposes the constitution and the right say's obey the law, when there is argument about what exactly the foundng fathers meant though and the right takes all the "room" it can get?

I don’t care who gets the blame I don’t care if anyone ever has to hang their head in shame over this atrocity, because I believe our nation as a whole needs to hang it's head in shame. To have let something like this become law is an insult to the integrity and honor of or nation. It is time for this heinous wrong to be abolished and forever remembered as a mistake.

how about the fact that there is a 7 year old girl (american citizen) on the terrorist watch list due to a mistake but the federal government has refused to take her off, there is also a 6 year little boy (also american citizen) on the list because he happens to have the same name as a watched terrorist.
if a 7 year old and a 6 year old american citizen can be put on this list for doing absolutely nothing than what makes you think you or i can't??? - 1 year ago

whoah, it may be bait, but well placed.
firstly paul is making a giant leap from secret detention centers to summarily assassinating citizens.we all know full well about abu grahib, gitmo, and others, as well as us citizens and fellow allies being wrongly imprissoned.its not so much news what ron paul is sharing but the most strained extreme that can be derived from it, just as legalizing abortion didnt mean that all life now comes with a price tag, as previously surmised similarly.a bazillion shades of grey exist between the two concepts.this is the same insanity the "death pannels" were born from, that says more about our collective inteligence than it does the legislation.of course the gov wont ever share its clandestine black ops with us, as we will never know who killed kennedy and so on, but that is part of how it goes.we all know throughout the world our boys under massive secrecy are doing some shady shit.from infecting people with syphalys all nazi style just to see the outcome to skin transferable chemicals killing specified targets, but we are ok with it as it is a requirement for our security.they dont cross a line and we dont ask.
if you believe fox is unbias you need help.im not saying this in a partisan my ideas are better than yours kind of way, but in a one human being helping out another kind of way, fox is republican talking points in television and radio friendly form.not journalism.fox is news, like the wwwe is wrestling.i would say the same to some one who thinks msnbc is news or unbias as it clearly isnt.
i think it was tongue and cheek cuz i dont think anyone literaly thinks fox or msnbc is legit and can operate a computer, but if not you really need to stay away from politics as it is not something you have the wear with all to handle appropriately. - 1 year ago

They get us acclimated but accelerating these things incrementally. It starts off with just a little torture, but only for terrorists. Next thing you know the evil comes home to roost and we are listening to Congressional speeches, such as this one. Here we have a member of congress talking about policies that allow for secret prisons, torture, and assassination, of American Citizens.
And all my local news can talk about is LeBron James going to Miami and Lindsey Lohan going to jail. We all need to wake up. - 1 year ago

It's like that saying, "you can't get a little bit pregnant." And I say that a little bit of torturing, killing, imprisoning, invading and occupying is utterly repugnant to the idea of a free society. Millions of people have been speaking out about this issue, but their voices continue to be silenced by a media that places sensationalism over substance--that places consumerism over conscience.
America crossed a line that should have never have been crossed. I don't care who speaks out against this insanity--I will stand with them to end it and insure that it never happens again in my lifetime.

I always enjoy hearing Congressional speeches, such as this one (even with my blatant Ron Paul/libertarian slant), in the sense that you can hear his words echo in an empty House chamber. It's the same with any Representative wishing to bring attention to all the fucked-up shit that goes on in this country. (Does anyone remember Senator Robert Byrd's speech on the Senate Floor the night before we began our invasion of Iraq?)
While I know the date this speech was given, it makes a casual listener wonder when it was. It goes beyond administrations, and I often wonder if the history books will ever reflect back on a moment in American history when the people of this country had a chance to save their country from utter demoralization and collapse--but they failed to speak out. Even though there are certain folks in the Current community who will consider this to not be news or meritworthy of discussion simply because of political bias, I hope that a few people will pay some attention.
It's time to start asking the tough questions. And I, for one, think that this issue needs to be addressed with the same sense of urgency as our economy and healthcare.

I just posted a story from the real News about how or state Department paid the Republic of Andorra 3 Billions of dollars because Andorra is in Afriica. Read this and gain a little insight into a stupid criminal incompetent government. Andorra is a nation in the pyrenees mountains between Spain and France. Yet when the state department held up a map of Africa and mentioned its colors represent the nations the USA is ready to buy off. And n ow the State Department has the gall to ask Andorra to return and insists it is their responsibility to return it. Geez Federal criminals, crime and intelligence and political competence is not representative of US civilization and sanity, morality and common decency. About one thousand people in Washington have the power of life and death over all Americans and 300,000,000 Americans set on their fat duffs and let these guys run rampant over the world. Three million Germans turn out for an 80 mile autobahn picnic, Jesse Jackson has no problem amassing 1 milliom of his followers to show up in washington and the whites cain't gather more than a pittance. That is why American will and is failing and soon it will be so in debt that all of the nations the USA had held up and added sanctions to will become allies and the streets in America will glow red from outer space.
