Let me preface this with FUCK THE POLICE... However, this was not brutality (in my opinion) or excessive force. I think it's important that people don't scream foul every time an officer has to get physical. The pricks actually have to deal with some losers in between beating up on minorities and harassing people.

The woman appears to be drunk or stoned. She's pushing a baby carriage, for Pete's sake. How safe is her baby? She was totally resisting arrest. The cops didn't taze her or use excessive force. They took care of her and called for an ambulance (or backup).
I guess, though, the mean old cops should have just let her stagger on down the road with her baby.

Really? The woman appeared to be stoned or drunk, and the police called an ambulance. Do you have a separate source for that, because the video clip doesn't really include any of that.

at least he attends to her afterward and tries to assess her condition. instead of shooting her in the back and calling it a day. and if these two do pay for this(which I doubt) they will be punished for showing that quarter ounce of compassion, weakness to a cop.

Thank God for cameras, or they would just keep on getting away with this sort of thing...is that her baby they've left screaming on the sidewalk?
She looks and sounds like she is high, or something, but God Almighty, are police incapable of thinking in a situation like this anymore...are they only capable of applying brute force and nothing else? Surely they could have subdued this woman without causing severe head trauma, and I think the only reason the cop did this is because he didn't think anyone could see him....kudos to whomever was behind the camera.

You're right, they didn't think it through clearly. He should have sat her down and offered her a warm cup of earl gray. Then maybe she would have complied. On the other hand, throwing her down like that was probably uncalled for, unless she did something to provoke it, like bite him.

Absolutely! A nice warm cup of Earl Grey always calms me down, but seriously, if you watch the end of the video, he starts calling her by her name, so he must have known who she was. I don't know, maybe I'm too much of an idealist, I just think cops resort to violence and brute force too easily. He could have assured her that he was going to take care of her baby and at least tried to talk her into a more calm state, but then again, she seemed pretty damn out of her head, and I'm sure she pissed him off. Nonetheless, when you take the job to serve and protect, you have to think about what you are doing before you bash somebody's head into a resistant surface...just so not cool.
