Banks bailed out; oil companies run amok; health insurers skirting the rules. The inmates are clearly running the asylum and American politicos are powerless to stop them.

    • So the problem isn't with the companies but with the spineless politicians who'd rather have political donations than do their job.

Corporatism has taken over this country. This is no surprise. However, people fail to realize it could have only happened by government setting up the conditions for the companies to take over.

You do realize that we had 50 votes in the senate for a public option? The problem was the need for 60 votes and a hand-full of jackass democratic senators + the Super independent ass-wipe Joe Lieberman (Whose wife is part of Etna Insurance) Blocked even having a vote. AND Don't get me started on the total lack of republican support.

You do realize the health care plan with a public option is a corporations wet dream right? I found it hilarious how people thought the public health care bill was a strike against corporations.

So I take it your from the camp that does not believe that health care is a right. How in the hell is our country supposed to compete with other nations if we are spending twice as much and not getting better results? Medicare for ALL. Payed for by bringing the troops home.

I'm from the camp who believe people should be able to pay for their services needed in their life.

I don't disagree with the health care system right now. It's in shambles because there is no free market for health care. Competing companies can't enter the marketplace and insurance companies can't even compete across state lines.

OH is that what you believe? Maybe we should all be born with an injury preventer until we make a million to pay for health care when someone else with no money fucks you over.

A blowjob is a service. Healthcare is a right in a civil society. Bottom line is people are going to get hurt and sick no matter what. Kicking the people who can't pay to the side is Inhuman.
