Despite the lack of appreciation and recognition for obama's success, I think that he is dedicated to change, and determined to make a difference.....Good post, Kennymotown.

thanks nanac, people seem to forget rather easy, what a mess Obama was handed. It will probably take a decade to fix the economy and jobs will be the last thing to bounce back.

Bush and the Republicans have this country so messed up until it might take longer than a decade...With all of the deregulation, tax breaks for the super rich, and the massive Pentagon budget it is sending us into a third-world status...Republicans don't want to pay any taxes, however they want all of the benefits...They want to fund dumb, irrelevant wars, but they can't find a penny for the middle class...

They won't regain power, the voters have been paying attention! Hell 20% of the work force is at home with time on their hands and watching the Republican party side with big oil, side with the bankers, side with the racists ...........on and on the GOP is stepping in it big time, and the recent polls show the Dems are up 47% to 43% in who the American public trusts. Not to mention how hard they fought healthcare change no matter what. Now they are trying to protect the BUSH tax cuts for the rich.......how do you think that will go over with voters? Besides who benefits from a so called close election....answer the media will make hundreds of millions on advertising. I say work hard for progressives and watch the total surprise from the Republican party when they get bitch slapped again.

Great find! However it would be helpful to post at least an excerpt from the story next time, otherwise the lazier Current-ers won't make the jump to read it.
Just a suggestion. Otherwise, nice post!

Professor Batra is a economics professor at SMU, and a frequent guest on Thom Hartmanns radio show. Check out Batra's web page that book on Greenspan was written a few years back.

Since the number of books determines the intelligence of a person, you should think Ann Coulter is a genius.

Although I don't like her really Coulter has seven books and all appeared on the best seller list. Combined she has sold more than 3 million books.
I doubt Hartmann comes close to that with 20 books.

the voluminous number of her books sold is rather more of an indictment on how sick America really is...
