The Pentagon regards Army intelligence analyst Bradley Manning as a possible suspect in leaking a classified six-year history of the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan that Wikileaks published over the weekend, a spokesman said Monday.

    • As a veteran I can say that most if not all of my generation wouldn't have taken such action . But this government is soo much larger and no matter how difficult it may be to believe, much more secretive .

When spending begins to get on par and exceed expenditures of the WW2 era, with ONLY death reports ( whenever the wars are mentioned) on local 'news' ..; questions needed answers.

If i were his C O, I would NOT apply the full measure of UCMJ but the administration has trumped any immediate supervisors opinion. Admittedly Manning should face some type of disciplinary action but it should not be overlooked that he exercised his 2nd amendment right; doing something the ENTIRE American media refuses to do outside of acting like the local PSA - public service announcement, (voice of the government) subsidized by local merchants... trying to inform the public should not be a 'life ending' crime ; there is no significant damage apart from Mannings' career . Which he chose to risk so others , parents , brothers, sisters would know something; anything.

All the information leaked is over 7 months old and has yet to put ANY operation in danger..

He is facing 52 years if convicted
