South Korean Man Explodes

Imagine floating down your favorite river in your inner-tube or going to your favorite fishing hole only to be blown into a pink mist. Well that is exactly what happened to two South Korean men along the border with North Korea. In the last two days alone over 30 land mines have been swept down river from North Korea and into South Korean territory; most of which are disguised in wooden boxes. One of the men was blown into oblivion and the other was wounded by the blast. It seems as if the men had no idea what they were picking up as they were trying to take them home.
The North has received heavy rains and is flooding in some areas and the result is an explosive river. The military has issued a warning to all border residents telling them to stay away from the river areas until they can be swept for any more mines that may be floating down the river and onto land. The mines are placed in a wooden box so that they are harder to pick up with a metal detector and I’m sure the death toll will climb before they are all found.
The next time you’re floating down your state’s lazy river don’t be so eager to pick up the mysterious floating treasure chest.

When other countries flood, you will find tires floating down river, logs, empty soda bottles, plastic garbage bags, cardboard boxes, perhaps a few street signs.
Not North Korea.
When it floods, you get bombs.
