Guantanamo Youth's Ruling Angers Attorney

An attorney for Canadian prisoner Omar Khadr expressed outrage this week over a ruling by a U.S. military judge allowing Khadr's confessions to interrogators to be used as evidence against him in his murder and terrorism conspiracy trial at Guantanamo.

    • Well I think a confession from a minor how probably has been beaten is not reasonable enough to convict him. I wonder how that judge can sleep at night. Our legal system and political system is like a fucking business. When you see ads for someone running for office it sounds like a damn auto insurance commercial, " I can give the best rates, and this guy running against me he is a commy! dont listen to im just listen to what i am selling you". The legal system if you have the right friends or amount of money you can get out of any thing. It is always about money and i am sick of it.

    • Jesus, think about this precedent.

      A minor, not demonstrated to have perpetrated any crimes, had a confession beaten out of him and may receive a life sentence for it.

      What scares me more than the ruling itself is that I'm really not surprised. Is this kind of behavior going to become normal in America? Have the highest offices of our land, even under a democrat, really become so incompetent or so evil that they don't see how fundamentally dangerous this is on a basic level?

      When it comes to War and Civil Liberties Obambi is just Bush in Black Face. I knew this when he extended the Patriot Act. He has the nerve to call himself a Constitutional Scholar. His understanding of the 5, 6, & 7 Amendments are far different from mine.

      I guess you all know we are still using ENHANCED irrigation techniques? I think Progressives are finally starting to wake up to the reality that they have been screwed in the rear with no lube.
