Marines Find 72 Bodies In Northern Mexico

Mexican marines have found the bodies of 72 people at a rural location in northern Mexico, following a shootout with suspected drug cartel gunmen that left one marine and three suspects dead.
The find appears to be the largest drug-cartel body dumping ground found in Mexico since President Felipe Calderon launched an offensive against drug trafficking in 2006.
Mexican drug cartels often use vacant lots or mine shafts to dump the bodies of executed rivals or kidnap victims.
The Navy announced the discovery Wednesday, but did not give details on the victim's identities, who had killed them, or whether the bodies had been buried.
It was also unclear whether the 58 men and 14 women had been killed at the same time, or separately.

And yet Mexicans are always claiming that the USA is racist for hmmm, let's see, not allowing them to come into our country illegally, commit crimes, commit genocide as this story reports, pollute, grow their gangs and drug dealing. Gee , how terrible of the USA not to be understanding and let their filth cross the border. We have enough of our own filth, thank you.

On NPR they were saying that these were probably migrants whose families could not pay ransom after they were snatched up. There is a vast network of organized crime that preys on the weak, extorting or killing to maintain their power.

These fools need a pig farm
Brick Top: You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together.
And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig shit, now do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig".

Serioulsy lets just invade, apply all our laws, and cops, close the border spend a couple of years under strict martial law, make investment opurtunites, shove some money down that hole, cut off the drugs restructure their governenment and society. then as soon as its secure we move out. Its either that or just close the border completly build a giant fence send all the illeigals home and leave a message on the gate you are on your own.

tight border security - that's not enough and will not solve the problem. To resolve this, a few important things need to be done. This whole thing is consequence of years of US influence in Mexico. That country is not free, is not a democracy and has no sovereignty. Things will get worse there, unless the US stops interfering. Let Mexico be. Then the Mexican people will eventually revolt against the dominant class, and change things there. It may take a few decades for that to happen though.

There is no doubt that this is a horrendous act of evil, mass murder on an epic scale. Also, I think we can all agree that this is linked to the ongoing drug war between the different Mexican Drug Cartels. What I want to know is do people believe that American Law Enforcement Agencies and United States Military should become involved in the violence that happens south of the border? Or does America's "War on Drugs" start at our border?

Radical_Centrist:
The U.S. Military has a long history of direct military involvement in countries that have rampant drug problems and have asked the U.S for help. When I first enlisted, right after I finished my AIT and Jump my unit the 1-89th/10th MN was attached on temporary assignment to a detail of DEA agents working with the Columbian National Police in Columbia (of course). We provided physical security for the DEA agents when they went into the field to either raid or destroy a drug lab or cocca field. There was also a number of pilots from the Combat Aviation Brigade/10th MN transporting the whole lot of us in UH-60's. A number of Naval personal were also working with the DEA, operating Swift Boats (from I what I heard.) So, yes the U.S Military does get directly involved in other countries drug wars when the U.S government feels that country's drug war is directly endangering the safety of its citizens. It's rare but not unheard of, generally instead of getting directly involved the government provides Advisors, weapons, training and economic aid.
